Nau mai, Haere Mai, Afifio Mai!
Welcome to Glenbrae School

Glenbrae School is a welcoming and diverse place where learners are challenged to become the best version of themselves. Our vision is to “Grow, Believe, Succeed” - we can be ourselves, believe in what we can do, and be equipped to step into the world and succeed in what we aspire to achieve.

Nestled in the heart of a diverse community, alongside Leybourne Reserve, we are surrounded by a rich, multicultural community, holding a special place in the land, and in our communities’ hearts.

With a broad, expansive and internationally minded curriculum, we engage our students and allow them to express themselves in a multitude of ways. Our teachers place great value on the learning relationships they form with their tamariki, and use this as the stepping stone to help them “Grow, Believe and Succeed.”

We are the guardians of the land - the kaitiakitanga of our environment. We connect ourselves with both the local and the international community - we form these relationships through whakawhanaungatanga. We care for each other through showing aroha, and above all else, we demonstrate a love for learning and a craving for new learning experiences and knowledge - ako. We value these aspects in everything we strive for.

Our school is a place where tamariki want to learn, achieve, and create their own success story. Every story is different, every learner comes from a different background and brings their own uniqueness to Glenbrae School. Everyone here is welcomed, challenged, and succeeds.
